Daniel oversees the Foundation and the work of Whole Planet, Whole Cities and Whole Kids serving as Executive Director. Prior to becoming ED, Daniel served as the Senior Director of Programs.

From 2011 to 2016, Daniel was the Whole Planet’s Asia/Pacific Regional Director. In this role he was responsible for identifying new viable partnerships while providing oversight to existing partners spanning the region. From 2017- 2023, Daniel supported Whole Planet’s international portfolio and was responsible for developing programmatic strategy, expansion and overseeing partner operations in more than 80 countries.

Prior to joining the Whole Planet team, Daniel worked in microfinance at the field level for Grameen Trust. During this time, he supported the planning, and implementation of the establishment of Grameen Build-Operate-Manage (BOM) microfinance institutions in Guatemala, Mexico and Colombia. Daniel holds degrees in Economics and International Affairs from the University of Colorado, Boulder.
