A graduate of Santa Clara University, Sandy holds a Bachelors in Sociology with an emphasis in Business and Human Services and a Minor in Ethnic Studies.

Prior to joining Whole Foods Market in 2008, Sandy worked as the Project Manager for the Youth, Communities, and Social Justice Project. Sandy has 19 years of retail grocery experience, 7 of which she worked as Marketing and Community Outreach Team Leader in Whole Foods Market’s Northern California Region. In 2010, she traveled as a Whole Foods Market Team Member volunteer to Arequipa, Peru. There she observed firsthand the extraordinary power of microcredit in action and engaged in volunteer activities that would inspire her to join the Whole Planet Team in 2015 as the Marketing and Outreach Program Manager leading supplier donor relations.

Now, as the Senior Development Manager responsible for the support and growth of Corporate Partnerships, Sandy continues to pursue her passion for collaborations that empower underserved communities around locally and globally.
