Stephanie Manciagli

Portfolio Director, Whole Planet (Latin America & the Caribbean)

Stephanie joined the team in 2019 as the Program Manager for Latin America & the Caribbean to support Whole Planet’s implementing partners in carrying out their respective socially-focused microfinance programs.

While she was raised in Atlanta, Stephanie grew up in a multicultural household with each of her grandparents from a different country (United States, Jamaica, Italy and Canada). From Atlanta, Stephanie went on to get a B.A. in International Affairs at Florida State, spending 12 months of her studies in the Republic of Panama.

After a term of service with AmeriCorps and working as a Program Coordinator for Points of Light, Stephanie returned to Panama as a graduate student through Tulane University, where she also worked as a Program Assistant at the United Nations Development Program.

Following graduation, Stephanie moved to Paraguay and worked as Fundacion Pararguaya’s Assistant Manager for the Poverty Stoplight. In this role, she coordinated the operations, programming and relationship-building for Poverty Stoplight’s growing partnerships across 23 countries.

Having seen first-hand the impact that microlending has had (and having fallen in love with Latin America), Stephanie is inspired to be working out of Panama to support Whole Planet partners throughout the Caribbean, Central America and South America as they work hand in hand with entrepreneurs to build prosperity. Today, Stephanie is based in Mexico City and supports Whole Planet’s global portfolio, primarily partners working in Latin America and the Caribbean.
