Yvan joins Whole Planet as a Program Manager supporting Africa and Middle East/North Africa.

Yvan’s experience for the last 10 years has been supporting the growth and scale of social innovations across Francophone Africa with his recent tenure supporting the growth of the portfolio and incubation programs in the Great Lakes and Francophone Africa for the Segal Family Foundation.

Prior to this, he has worked in several roles in the international development space supporting development partners in the UK, Netherlands and Germany with program design, portfolio building, program management and monitoring as well as investment matchmaking. He holds a bachelors in Electronics and Communication Systems Engineering from the University of Rwanda as well as a Master’s in Business Administration and Sustainable Development from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. 

He is passionate about social innovations, fairness in grantmaking processes and sustainable investments across Africa and is also an avid lover of coffee and creative design.
