Zoe joined Whole Planet in June 2016 as a Program Manager supporting the Africa and Middle East portfolio. She is now Whole Planet’s East and Southern Africa Regional Director, and she also supports Whole Planet partners in Southeast Asia.

Prior to joining Whole Planet, Zoe started an independent consultancy specializing in program strategies and partnership development for NGOs and social enterprises. She worked at BRAC USA for three years, where she supported financial inclusion and youth empowerment initiatives in Uganda, Tanzania, and Sierra Leone. Zoe has also worked in operations, grant management, and monitoring and evaluation in Afghanistan and the Democratic Republic of Congo and served in the Peace Corps as a small enterprise development volunteer in Senegal.

She holds dual Master’s degrees in International Affairs and Journalism from Columbia University and a bachelor’s degree in foreign service from Georgetown University.
